DICTAPHONE ALBUM (2007)



Raw as fuck. My 4-track had broke so it's all recorded with a dictaphone. It's a mixture of stuff recorded in my bedroom and recordings from a houseshow in December '07. Features early versions of some songs that would end up on 'Loneliness is a Dirty Mattress'.

MINXX - DRY DOCK (2007)




Dry Dock was released on cassette by Trapdoor Tapes with a limited run of 50 (I also think this was Trapdoor's last release) in late 2007. Minxx had ended by the time it was released so there wasn't much effort put into 'getting it out there'.

This is a solo album I recorded in 2006 that was never released (it doesn't even have a name). It's mostly instrumental and is a little less noisy than the stuff I had done previously.

These are the original look!pond recordings, the first thing released was a cassette in late 2005 then a 3" CDR followed it in January 2006. Both were limited releases and haven't been available for awhile. I've combined both here and added two outtakes that were recorded around the same time, "Mountains" and "Stranger".

look!pond later became a 'proper' band and we re-recorded most of these songs expensively in a studio and released it as an album in late 2006. It's been recently re-released on Bedroom Suck Records.

FRENCH HORNS (2004-2006)

Highgate Hill, Brisbane. December 2005.

French Horns existed for about 2 years and although we recorded a lot we never released anything properly. This is a compilation of different recordings I found on SWARMING. They're taken from a 4ZZZ live to air set from late 2005 as well as some 4 track recordings from rehearsals and a couple of live tracks from Summer Winds 2006 in Sydney.
